I love Voodoo Blue and Java Green, would be a tough choice but I'd probably take the blue.

There is an older Java Green M4 in my area and it looks good but a bit much for me. I would go purple probably or stick with BG but the blue is nice.

It’s my #1 complaint with this car. I literally don’t want any of the colors they offer and would pay a premium for an individual color (in excess of the premium which already exists for individual).

I’m beating a dead horse at this point but BMW continues to demonstrate that I’m not the intended demographic for this car with something as simple as color choices. I’m not spending $70k and not getting a color I’m stoked about. I know it’s not making a difference given the generally positive reception to these colors, but it is disappointing.

I think all of the unhappy interior and exterior color folks on this site just need to admit they need a G80/G82. The G87 checks all my boxes and then some. It's a 2-series ///M - it will NEVER have all the options as the M3/M4. BMW spends a LOT of money and time thinking up new ways on how to urge certain demographics into the "next step up." The unhappy folks need to face they need the next step up or just deal with the more limited options. Complaining about it here ad nauseum will not do ANYTHING to change anything.
I personally love the black interior and the fact they have REAL blue options. They didn't at launch. NO WAY I'd drive the ZB. Now they have 3 blue options - I'm thrilled! I also hated the F87's single "blue" choice of LBB. Which is more teal than blue.
OR, wait til next year for the LCI/Comp/CS which will probably bring/delete colors.

My #1 complaint is the wheels. Heavy/non-forged with an uninspired design.

Thank you BMW! Techno over Twilight sounds like a sleek choice. Nice choice on the M2 for your next ride, Lurking on the G87 forums sounds exciting. Decisions, decisions! Voodoo or Java, huh? Love my greens too but switching it up from an loMG M3 sounds like a fun change.

One must pay homage to the godfather. Get the M2 in Java Green Metallic. Thunder Night is a close second.

I mean you're not wrong, but I really just didn't want to spend G80/82 money on a car at this point. The G87 is "don't have to think about it" money, and the G82 is, "Gonna have to think this one over and ask myself if I think it's worth it." It's an extra $400 a month that I really didn't feel like spending. $1,600/month just rings differently in the ears than $2,000/month.

I'm disappointed. I was holding out hope that Individual would come along and Cognac wouldn't have died for nothing.

I'm thrilled that you're happy with loud and ostentatious colors. I wish I could be as well. I could save some money if I had poorer tastes.

I don't kid myself that my talent behind a wheel would ever be materially impacted by something like this. And the cost of a permanent resolution is much cheaper than a paint job or wrap.

How is a black interior and Portimao blue exterior .. LOUD? ZB was/is loud.

I'll blend in amongst the hoards of Subarus, Civics, Highlanders, F-150s etc.

When compared to Manhattan Green Metallic, Portimao may as well be a megaphone turned up to 11.

If there is no Individual and no Cognac, I just won't get an M2.

I was trying to stay under $2k (with insurance) on my next car. I've already talked to my wife and got the OK to spend a little more if it will mean I (we) get the colors we want.

I don't want to blend in with Subarus. I don't want to blend in at all. But I don't like the colors because I prefer subtle colors that aren't boring blacks, whites, etc. I like metallic earth tones. I'm not surprised they aren't available, but when Tag mentioned 409 as potentially coming, then I got a little more excited.

And if it's not, then I'm not getting an G87, and I will make peace with that.

I mean do you really need to shit on what others like? “I could save some money if I had poorer tastes” is hard to read otherwise. I agree I am not a fan of the louder colors but don’t think that people that are inferior taste. Just different.

I'm exhausted by the people who can't seem to understand that some people want a G87 for one reason or another over a G80/82 and want a color they love, are disappointed by the unraveling news/leaks, but placate by saying, "Just get an M4."

I can afford an M4, but the value proposition of the G87 made me like it more than just the car itself. Really felt like a "bargain," and who doesn't love that?

But I've bought enough clothes on clearance in colors I didn't like to know that I just shouldn't buy the thing to begin with, and that's increasingly how I feel with the G87, and that's the disappointment.

I've already emailed BMW to express that disappointment, even if that's shouting into the void the same with this is.

Saying "Admit it, you need an M4" is pretty unhelpful. I know an M4 will do what I want, but I was excited by the prospect of saving a buck. Instead of suffering the ambiguity I may as well put a finer point to it.

Not sure I agree with that justifying response but whatever. Enjoy whatever you get when you get it. Best of luck in future.

Tag Now with these out, are you able to post the unscrambled images for the other colors and the red-black interior?

Bold colors really shine on the M2. Don’t know if I could personally justify paying $3k+ for any of these colors, but hopefully enough people will order them in equal parts so I can admire them on the road

If money were no object though, I’d want one of each Well, apart from the purple. That, I’d be happy just to stare at from across the street

The only one I would want would be the purple and maybe the grey. Funny how opinions work.
