Nice! I’m still trying to piece together what I’ll be needing. Hopefully in the upcoming months.

interesting thread... but I'm confused about the "NO WEAPONS" thing. does that mean I can't post pictures of cars? cars are more deadly than most non-military firearms....

anyway... I'm posting a picture of a recliner set that I just bought for the strangest reason. I was just visiting that area and needed to use the restroom. The furniture store was the only thing nearby, so I went it. Can't seem to find George Costanza's iToilet app on my iPhone?

They had really, really clean men's restroom. After I washed my hands, I browed the store... somehow ended up buying these recliners.($2300) They are getting delivered in a couple of days.

Those look nice.
I'm actually going to remodel my Home Theater this Spring.
Currently I have a expensive modular seating/laying set from Z Gallery. That i bought 4yrs ago and it is still one of their Top sellers! But I now want "stadium/stepped seating" with powered Recliners: 6 in Total.

I'm strongly considering these:

I have the Ryobi version. Bought it before last winter. Since then we haven't had enough snow to bother using it, so it seems to be working.

I'll try it tomorrow (there is 18" around the shed) and report back.

I did try it in about 4" of slush last year. I knew going in it probably wasn't going to work, but it was worse than I had thought. It threw the slush ok, but you really need to be aware of where it's pointed, especially with nasty slush.

Last night we got 3"-4" of very fluffy snow. I went out this morning to clear the driveway with the snow thrower. It threw the snow with no problems. But it's very windy and the wind keeps shifting, so the snow going into the air was simply blowing back onto the area I just cleared. You can sort of aim the snow stream in the general direction of the wind, but it was swirling here, so it quickly became frustrating. Plus I had the option of going the long way down the driveway or going across the driveway. Either way, I had to pick the thrower up at the end of the run and walk back to start another run. In the end, I just went back to using my trusty shovel. The snow is light enough that I could just push it with the shovel, so no lifting involved. And the wind wasn't blowing it back in my face.

For walkways and decks, this should work fine. But even with no wind, I'm not sure it's much of a time saver over a shovel. Maybe with snow that isn't too light or too heavy it'd work better.

Picked up a few of these for the basement remodel where the new 75inch tv is and sound bar. Will go behind both with a long 126in floating shelf. Scheduled to arrive this Sunday and should have it installed same day depending on when it arrives. Install looks simple and will use a finish nailer as I don't want to use epoxy to attach it.

Ordered the wife a present for putting up with me during my Long Sit thanks to losing my FAA Medical-- she was NOT ready for me to go from being home 10 days a month to being home 30 days a month.

She looked a long time, but kept coming back to this one particular Mikimoto. On the plus side, it helps me continue my relationship with my Rolex AD for a "I survived something that should have killed me" piece if/when I get my Medical back.

Was too cold yesterday. It work well, I did around the shed, tent and the landing.

There was about 12"+ of semi hard snow on the flat but what is left on the stair is kind of frozen. We are going above freezing next week so I'll clean them up by hand.

Since we have far less wind today, I'm going to give it a shot on the walkway across the front yard. Not sure it'll be and faster or easier than with a shovel, but at least I'll get to put it to use.

EDIT: I ended up just using the shovel. It was basically just a matter of pushing the snow off to the sides of the walkway. The snow thrower tosses the snow directly forward, so it's sort of self defeating if you need to clear a long, straight path.

Wonder if there is an angle attachment that can be bought or made to help with that issue.

Looking at the picture of the shovel above, why not use a tin piece of heating duct work and attach to the black shoot as a deflector to the left or right.
Make sure to spray it with WD 40 or something so the snow doesn't stick to it.
