I found this photo online, it is currently in inventory at another BMW Center. Port installed Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler - $720.00

Note, this paint color is Melbourne Red Metallic.

That is actually the spoiler I wanted. Any idea how this can be added once allocation is received?

Yes, I do. Your CA should as well. Not that difficult, few clicks of a mouse.

May just be me, but I find the shape and angle of that spoiler to look odd. Hoping for a slightly more aggressive than stock carbon lip style spoiler to come out by a 3rd party.

Maybe Akrapovic will decide to make one for the M2 (no plans as of now). Of course with the wing with the support system and hardware it will run you close to $7,000 installed.

I saw this and thought "huh, one would have to have cf everywhere, otherwise this might be a lil silly...... Unless the intention was to be silly which would be hilarious if there was absolutely zero cf on the entire car, except the gas cap."

Trying to get a clear idea of what parts are available and clicking on various links people post here can lead to some funny stuff. My CA emailed me today to update me that the HAS kit is still not showing as an option, but sent me a list of what he does see as available, sending me into a fun adventure of trying to find any hope for HAS and also digging into the list he sent.

I couldn’t agree more - don’t love how it shoots off the back of the car. I would really like a more subtle option, like what comes on the M3 with the
M carbon exterior package.

I am trying to like these M performance parts but it is very difficult. I think the spoiler just doesn't fit right. I would love to do the front winglets but they are huge and too square. I would also love some of the interior pieces but I don't want "M performance" written everywhere. I wish I could delete the badging.

I think a huge chunk of the cost is the cf diffuser, which is not worth anything extra to me. I got an email from my CA today reiterating that the HAS suspension is not available for port install, which is the only way I'd be getting it. Turns out the only m perf parts I will be port installing are the floor mats, and roof rack. I will probably go aftermarket for wheels, exhaust, and HAS.

You do know that Toyota, subaru, BMW share similar parts, design of the rear, but they decided not to go w the M3 designer for their front grill. on this on

Why have floor mats installed at the port? I'm leaning toward roof rack and mirror caps, which seem more difficult for a non-DIYer like me. Maybe the shift knob, if it adds functionality and isn't just aesthetic.

But I'm pretty sure I can install floor mats.

The factory floor mats are not technically installed. They are typically placed in the trunk of the vehicle. They are generally installed during PDI and/or detail. YMMV per Center.

They can stay in the trunk for all I care, even the roof rack. Just trying to get them in on the financing. If they are included in the window tag with the original ticket price of the car that will be an extra bonus.

If HAS suspension can't be installed at port is anyone still actually opting for the m perf HAS suspension, and if so what are the benefits vs going forward aftermarket? If installed by dealership upon delivery does it still carry the same warranty and is it possible to get it included in the window sticker build?

M Performance parts installed by the dealership are covered under warranty for the duration of the vehicle' warranty period or 2 years, whichever period is longer.

But don't think it will be part of the window sticker and price to be part of the amount financed.

If it is not installed at the VPC then it will not be on the MSRP, but you can ask if you can finance the parts. I've never done this with a client before but I can ask when I get in if it's a possibility to finance an additional amount for accessories as part of a We Owe.

And wouldn't the financed amount be based on the bill of sale? Who cares what the window sticker says, the final price can be higher or lower than that, right?

Possibly also depends if financing with BMW or an outside lender the customer uses.

I also question how long it will take to get the parts delivered to the dealer. If I had to guess, at least some dealers will not want a special order car sitting for a period of time. They most likely will want the customer "paying" and taking delivery.
