Gents, got some solid reliable information from a source close to BMW corporate. Can’t give more info than this to protect integrity of my source.
Apparently as we know, all cars with a build week scheduled BEFORE 5/1 will be price protected. Any cars going into production / scheduled for prod after 5/1 will be subject to a +4% price increase on MSRP to account for tariffs. Aka BMW is taking a 21% hit. I wouldn’t post this if I didn’t feel my source was very plugged in and reliable. Hope this helps any nervous Nellie’s like myself with a prod time of week 18. |

That means their magins are pretty good because they aren't going to take 0 profit to move cars. I would take the 4% hit, but I already secured a different car. My original build was scheduled week 19. So with the price increase I guess I'll get my deposit back on the car I backed out of.
