Getting the original off can be challenging. Hot glue might be an option. If you do, I'd heat the end of a glue stick with a lighter and then stick that straight to the button. However, you could also try warming the Clay/gum. Make sure to cover a good amount of surface area (same with hot glue). Then give a quick hard pull, straight up. It took me a couple of tries to get mine. Good luck.

Anyone know of another place to get a gloss black wingless front lip? AUTOID wants $200 to ship a $300 lip which is just dumb and I'm looking for something other than Maxton which I have a feeling I'm gonna be stuck with as the only option. AUTOID is kinda of dumb for not having some sort of product placement in the US to cut shipping.

I can only find the same winged front lip on Ebay and Alibaba. I'm surprised I can't find one on the Chinese sites to be honest.

Got the Eibachs installed. Perfect drop in my opinion.

Firmed up the ride a bit. Steering and handling feels more responsive.

VegasG42 Now that’s perfect fitment. None of the slammed bullshit, looks classy.

Curious did you ever have the rear suspension noise? Wondering if this would have any effect for us with the issue

Thank you , i appreciate that! I've had 'slammed' vehicles in the past, and it just isn't practical. This is about the lowest I want to go.

And no, knock on wood, I don't have any rear suspension clunk noise. Although the subwoofer i installed might be helping to mask any out of the ordinary noises lol. But no, no noises before or after.

Ordered ATS lowering springs, as I have a RWD model there's less to choose from. The ATS setup is equivalent to the Eibach pro kit, which is what I'm looking for. Next up is wheels and tires

Is there a market for the relatively brand new wheels and tires that come with the car?

Installed the Active Autowerke's Catted Downpipe.

Just finished the install. Hopefully no issues arrive.

As an important mention : the hardest part was getting the factory downpipe disconnected from the midpipe.

And absolutely do not attempt the install without an exhaust pipe expander to get the AA downpipe into the midpipe. It doesn't take much expansion to get it in.

Add a wireless charge pad. Since it’s typec I have to use a A-to-C converter. The phone can still be used as digital key.

I didn't do anything to my G42 today. But a bird did this.

Clearly they'd never seen the Sienfeld episode about George and the pigeon and understood that birds are meant to get out of the way of cars...

AFAIK they are a fully sealed unit and the front lens can't be removed from the housing and be replaced. If it can, let me know. Otherwise it's an insurance claim.

Or if anyone in Australia has a LHS shadowline adaptive headlight, let me know! Considering all the replaced headlights due to fogging, maybe there is one kicking around...

Unlucky. It’s a complete unit. Approx 1500GBP ~2600ASD plus fitting (5 hour job due to bumper removal).

PS due to the condensation issue, lights seem to be in short supply.
