That’s all he said during a phone call earlier today. This guy has provided very solid info since allocations began a few months ago.
If you or others believe my post should be deleted, I’ll do it but I’m passing along info from somebody who’s been reliable to date. |

This is what I'm doing. Picking up a 981 Cayman GTS this weekend lol. Worst case, I'm stuck sitting on a relatively non-depreciating asset until the allocation is filled.

After “running the numbers” on a pre owned ZL1, if I’m spending money, I’d rather wait for a brand new M2. I’m literally going to stop looking at other cars and bask in my greatness of a 234k mile Mazda Tribute with no AC 😭

My brother has a ‘22 ZL1 1LE and I can confirm that if you’re into American muscle, it is for sure the way to go. It is an absolute monster. |

If you are truly into real American muscle cars, just get a resto-modded 68 - 71 Mopar or Camaro, 69 fastback Mustang or 66/67 Chevy II. Thwre are some nice cars in the M2 price range at Meecum. |

US dealers were still getting HEA cars last month. Other countries haven't even done their official release yet. You don't think that's early in the production cycle? Early or not, it probably doesn't matter.

As for my 2 month window conversation... They can sell 7 of them between now and January as long as the Feb allocation is set aside for this guy wishful thinking? maybe, but I have A LOT of patience. and i really dont need the car right now

I think you are missing the point. Its a list with other people on it in an order wherein they are all waiting (loke you would be). If the dealership is reputable and ethical, you dont get to keep realigning your position for your sole benefit. Or maybe you get lucky and if you get shuffled down a list and your number is pulled in your window, ding ding ding...you win! Now I am sure you could find a dealership that is selling their allocations which would allow you to get a spot when you are ready...of course you would be "paying" for that allocation. |
