I'm in the same boat as Xspeedracer...dealer got back to me this morning with a production number.

So if I understand correctly, this means I don't have an allocation yet right?

Edit: CA said it will be start being built "any day now" which is why I'm confused.

If you have a production number you have an allocation.

Me too. I'm getting so antsy I'm debating putting deposits in a couple other locations to see if I can get an allocation somewhere else.

If you just got your allocation yesterday (and production number which is synonymous with the allocation), build will not start "any day." It will take approximately 2 weeks or more to get the VIN...to be safe, build will start within 30 day and probably closer to 3-4 weeks (however I do hope I am wrong).

I should get my production number today but knowing that I have my allocation, it’s chill and save money.. and buy parts. I ordered Black M2 emblems and the CF spoiler already. Next week is springs and spacers.

FYI, You should have your production number instantaneously. Ask for a copy of the VIR (vehicle inquire report) to be emailed to you and inspect that everything with your build is correct. You also want to verify that it is marked as a Priority 1 - Customer Sold, with your first and last name affixed to it.

My dealer reached out to me and said they got two allocations for July builds meaning I'm next on the list to receive an allocation! I cannot believe I'm already at the top of the list considering I put a deposit down in April.
