This was my experience as well. As soon as my CA said they had a VIN, I logged in and it was entering production queue status.

Stayed that way for a while until it was essentially being produced and completed. All of that happened this week for me.

I just found out that the bucket seats were taken off my build due to lack of inventory. My CA did say that they would request the bucket seats for me and did say that it would basically mean my car wont start production until the seats are available again.

So chances are i wont see any sort of tracking until the seats become available.

I'm picking mine up Upstate. Expected delivery to the dealer today, 1/20 per my CA. Not actually brining her home until they can get her prepped.

Anyone else have their dealership list their car for sale in case you back out? I was browsing through inventory online last night and saw they listed an M2 in stock. No pics yet but was looking at the specs thinking that car seemed oddly familiar to mine. Turns out this is my car listed for sale:

Don't quote me on this, but I think that is all automatically managed by their inventory system. That's my guess.

Mine was in "at the port" status a day or two after being released to the carrier. Then once the truck started it's trek to the dealer it flipped to "in transit".

Nice!! That thing got pretty dirty and looks full of ice. Must have been some weather on the trek to the dealership.

You are making me feel better about my idea of driving through my dealership lot tomorrow to see if my car is there. The carrier to the dealer ETA is 1/21 so I just might creep on thru tomorrow.

Yeah my CA actually set up for me to see it so I was in it and started it etc. it’s pretty awesome. It’s in great hands there being kept away from most people until I get it lol. It isn’t getting detailed or placed on the showroom floor.

Congrats on getting the buckets. When did you place your order? I ordered mine with buckets, but unfortunetly they were taken off my build due to the inventory constraint. My dealership told them to hold off on the build until the buckets were available again but that might mean i wont see my car till late in the year.

Allocation received May 2023. Sat in the order bank until November 2023
