TB is one of the better blues on offer right now.

Take the M3 and M4 for example, lots of standard color options and access to full individual catalog, yet probably 90% of those cars ordered through my dealer are black, white, or grey.
I 100% expect that this will happen.

People love to talk about these things but when it comes right down to it, and people start reckoning with the daily aspects of the car (if it's a daily), they always choose a black, white, grey, etc. I will be shocked if I ever see a Java Green M2.

If someone would like to buy a Twilight Purple M2 and trade me for my 4k mile BG I am willing to prove you wrong.

Java Green is tough to pull off but I will def go with the Purple…want something different. I like Voodoo Blue but I think a fair amount of people will pick it. Also there are a lot of other brands that have a similar blue on the road. The Twilight Purple, for me, is not as loud as Java Green but more unique than Voodoo Blue. Also, I think depending on the day, it could blend in a little bit too.

I don't even think it looks "bad," I just wouldn't want to live with it. I like Sao Paulo more, and I could live with it, but I'm still choosing Aventurin or IoM over it.

Idk Java goes hard. If it was available on the 24 it would've given ZB serious competition on my selection lol.

Justify the Java Green as a visibility enhancement safety feature, as I did with this (Roulette Green):

I wish BMW would've brought Laguna Seca Blue instead of Vodoo, and Atacama Yellow or Speed Yellow. If I'm being greedy, British Racing Green too... Too bad

I have been waiting for the colors to decide my order.

Twilight Purple for me. I had a Techno Violet E36. I have a Tanzanie II M50.

My E90 was totaled and was.going to bey track car, so the MT with carbon package, exterior carbon and port installed suspension is what I'm ordering.

I owned a Techno Violet E36 M3 with a natural to mustard individual interior. So you are wrong. I'm ordering a Twilight Purple M2.

I'm adding the M2 to a M50 in Tanzanite II with full tartufo individual interior.

People often put theironey where their mouth is.

- BMW brings boring colours and frozen colours are too hard to maintain

Another year in, BMW offers even MORE colours, now with a range never seen before in an entry level M car:
- I don’t like any of these options! If only these colours were something different… it’s individual but not true individual.

Later on, with individual colours:
- I like it but why do they charge for the colour? It should be cheaper, I hope it’s cheap.

Funny, isn’t it? Rinse, repeat.

Look for positives, and life will improve.
But it's not "Individual."

This is not materially different than the G80/2 having "Individual" paint options in the color select. I'd happily pay 5-7k for a true Individual option, because it's still cheaper (and more permanent) than a wrap.

Also, getting tired of the oxymoron "Entry level M car." It's still $70k for a car. I don't think anyone is expecting complete feature parity with its bigger brothers, but the reticence to allow for full Individual is leaving a sour taste in my mouth.

The same way I literally cannot get a green Z4 M40i without speccing a manual, which I do not want.

This thread reeks of "Fuck you, got mine"

See above comment about how these will be +1 cars and not single car garages.

Not so wrong, eh.
