I wouldn't be surprised if they have dealership employees that are on a stealth list and this person is "number one" on the customer list. Wouldn't be the first time that's happened.

Good thing I really don’t need an M2. If I was really in need of an M2, prolly would bought a lightly used F87C as prices have come back down from the moon. Or possibly a lightly used F87CS.

But does anyone really NEED an M2?

To add info from my end, on the list at three different dealers since November. All totaled just one customizable allocation among the three (that was last month). I'm currently #2, #3, and #3. Let's just say this last allocation drop has been a real gut punch, to put it lightly.

Okay, this is weird. I am next on the list at my dealer in Portland (#4). SA had not heard anything all day, but just called me and said he checked before leaving work and had an allocation for my order at status 112! I think I will delete the Shadowline, but on first glance it looks right. I'm now pumped and will finalize this tomorrow.

Noticed on mygarage or your build sheet? You’re correct, they haven’t been available since March, so I imagine the build sheet hasn’t been updated. Your build in mygarage should be accurate.

BUT....my SA can't find the "M Performance Suspension" work-flow. He found the Part # but apparently, they don't have an immediately clear way to add it to the order

Did anyone else have issues like that??

You mean CA (I hope you are not working with a SA). Go to the sales manager or who is in charge of inputting orders (my inventory manager had to find how to add the dive planes aka air inlets for me).

My SA did go to the manager and he did not know either, so they are calling BMW NA to find out. I sent him screen caps that other forum members put up of their tracking apps showing that the suspension can be part of the build. I really stirred the dealership up over this, LOL! But this is only their second one that came in.....

Finally got my allo after a year wait. Sethboii is #1 and I'm #2 at our dealership. I've been just as neurotic as he's been over this past year, and was sure the day would never come.

New stuff hits the coasts right out of the gate and slowly bleeds inward. Alas, it feels good once again good to be an Okie.

Keeping this baby forever. The onslaught of battery cars will force me to relegate the g87 to fair weather—a garage queen of sorts. Remember the good old days? When you could drive the wheels off your petro machine—always knowing you could replace it with the next generation?

Though I intend to keep g87 forever, that means driving her until the wheels fall off, so I'm definitely not babying her or letting her be a garage queen. Sort of. She won't see PA winters so she'll be driven half the year. I estimate 7-8k miles a year. I'm going on a road trip through the smokies next week then later this year another to tail of the dragon.
