Ah. Sorry for the miscommunication, what was the original planned production week, if that makes a difference?

I also received my allocation June 1st, and received status 112 about the same time was anyone else, but still no change in my status. No full CF package either. My production start is supposedly week 29.

Sorry, as you can see in my post #1653, I got an allocation on 6/2 and am already at Quality Check phase. Things seem to be moving quickly now so you should see a change soon.

I hope so as well. In your case, some have speculated that someone may have backed out of their allocation which allowed you to progress weekly, though you received a 6/2 allocation. So I believe the estimated production week might be a better indicator of when the status changes.

Backing out of an allocation would not have sped up anyone's build. There was at least one or two others that progressed in a very similar timeframe.

It seems a number of people who received their allocation on June 1 have hit status 150 (production begins) in the last few days.

Just keep checking the site, I would expect your build to move forward in the not too distant future.

AFAIK, backing out of allocations has no impact on progress. Until you are 112, BMW does not know you exist other than in the back of the room. My estimated production week is 6/25, so it may be a few days until I see a change, but expecting final completion by next week Just hoping I hit the ship lottery irght!

Received my allocation on May 5th and went back to “order received” today after going to “scheduled for production” a couple of weeks ago. Frustrating seeing no progress in 7 weeks. I have the carbon pack.

What happens with my 2023 build if it’s not produced by the start of the 2024 model year?

You will get a MY24 with the price increase. It is totally up to your center if they want to eat the difference.

Have you seen dealers being reasonable when it comes to this? I feel like with the high demand they will easily say no and gladly keep your order

It varies widely. G87 demand is not the same everywhere.

Edit, for long-term clientele whom have multiple purchases we would eat part of the increase, if not all of it in order to appease the client. The last thing we want to do is lose that customer.

I am always up front with clients. If you order a car, and BMW raises the price, then you pay the price increase. This could happen mid-year, so I cover this with every client order.

Just got a call saying the dealer has an allocation, but now they are asking $5,000 additional for front bumper ppf.. first they said no additional fees but after 8 months of waiting they change their mind. I don’t know what to do at this moment
