Were you planning on getting clear bra? If so then negotiate a reasonable price. We charge about 1400 for bumper, 1/3 hood and fenders, door ends, door cups, mirrors. 2400 for full hood and fenders.

If you don't want clear bra then I would reach out to the general manager. Be polite and clear that you were told there were no extra fees. I would pass on the car rather than pay 5k for clear bra. I FYI, I'm planning on doing a full stealth PPF for 5-7k.

Well it's been an interesting couple of weeks. I ended up cancelling my order because I was able to purchase a brand new M2 in exactly the spec I wanted (ZB, 6MT, CF roof/trim, lighting/shadowline, HUD). At MSRP. Miracles do happen.

I had already begun a nationwide search, and really just got amazingly lucky with one that matched my specs, the original buyer couldn't close the deal, and I had already been in touch with the CA, so I was able to hop on it quickly.

So... I will happily pass the "sethhboii torch" to the next guy/gal.

Saw 2 M4 Comps parked at the gym this morning. I have still only seen 1 G87 out in the wild here locally (happens to be a member on here too). While the hard top M4, black on black looked great (I don't care for the look of the convertible), it just gave me a sense of joy opting for the G87 not only for looks but also for the fact you just don't see them due to the fact they are very limited as evident by threads like this.

Fair point! I was alluding to the limited allocations, the scarcity of the vehicle vs the much more common other platform. In retrospect... perhaps it was a bit more of a tangent than I had originally intended.

Good and bad news, I finally received an allocation today but my CA said carbon pack is not an option for August builds. He did give me the option to forfeit my spot if I absolutely wanted the carbon seats and wait for the next allocation cycle but no guarantees it would be available then either.

Same happened to me, I just waited a bit and one allocation moved ahead of me. I would just take the next allocation, but idk how important they are to you. Without the carbon pack I don't want the car personally.

I have yet to here an argument for the eSim when we all have phones in our pockets that already do the same thing. I guess if you have someone else in the car with a tablet that wants to be on WiFi? Even then your phone is capable of being a hotspot.

Congrats. I'm getting frustrated with my sales person. I'd like to at least know what place in line I am and whether I've moved at all since putting my deposit in.

Thanks! To be fair I didn't know what place I was in line til the last round of allocations last month when I specifically asked. I'd check in with them and see they should at least be able to tell you how many at their dealership there are in front of you.

What's the price difference? Not on my radar for awhile. My sales called yesterday saying my spot is up to order. Have a week to decide if I want it.
