BIMMERPOST iOS App (iPhone/iPad) Issues/Bugs/Feature Request Thread

Not a huge issue but...

I recently purged my PMs and it gives me a maintenance alert. I've tried refreshing over a period of a few days and I get the same alert so I'm guessing this might be a bug.

Thx will look at this tonight. Basicly you have 0 messages in inbox and it gives an error. Is it the same for sent mail ?

I haven't tested it with sent mail yet. I don't plan to clear my sent mail folder anytime soon...

Swipe right (or press on the bimmerpost icon) to get to the menu and go to Settings. There should be a login form there.

Sweet got it! I was doing that before, but for some reason I thought it was asking to fill all the blanks out...I'm like..."but I've already done that.."... but it's working now...Thank you!

I posted with an attached photo via the app and got this error. The post seems successful though.

There was also a popup notifying me of a crash, though the app itself didn't crash.

iPhone 6S Plus iOS 9.1 also getting the photo error when trying to upload a photo from my gallery. I can however use the picture attachment and upload a link from Photobucket for example:

Thanks for the shots about the attachments. We've addressed this bug for the next version which is currently on the list to be reviewed by Apple. Just a few more days now. Hopefully it hits just before thanksgiving

Awesome! Thanks for the feedback, so the new update might fix it for everyone else. For anyone who tries the new update and it still doesn't work, try deleting the app for 24 hours first then re-installing.

I don't actually get any push notifications, it just says Active now in the settings page and it finally comes up in my notifications preferences too, the app also also me after the update if I would like to allow bimmerpost to send notifications.

I was hopeful this would work, but I'm not surprised that it isn't.

Notifications (push) still doesn't work.

Messages still don't work, just always getting an error message.

I'm using an iPhone 5s. I downloaded the app but how do I login?

I know it seems like a dumb question but I've looked everywhere it should be but can't find a login except w/ Facebook. ??

After posting this I went back to try it again and got an error pop up.

I guess I spoke too soon too. lol. Although the push notifications say "Active" it doesn't work. News isn't pushed. apptest
