I am a diehard Michelin guy, but I am not about to go and swap brand new tires just because I am obsessive compulsive about it.

Yes but you can also keep them and sell the aftermarket wheels when you sell the car.

Don’t blame you.The MP4S is a superior tire and the sidewall also looks so much better than the Pirellis.Definitely not worth the money to swap them out though.

I did put some miles before swapping the tires. The Pzeros are Star rated tires so It's not like you are gonna crash your car with those tires. I bet most of us would not feel the difference driving blindfolded. The Pzeros are noisier than PS4S after a few thousand miles YMMV

Pirelli is on my shit list after multiple sidewall failures over the years. I keep the mileage on my "weekend car" so low, it would probably take me a year to burn through them.

The first 1200mi are break-in anyway. Unless this is your daily I don't think most people will notice a gigantic difference even if they're noiser and wear out faster, you know your next set will be PS5's

With the beautiful weather I took a ride up to my Center on my motorcycle to talk with my CA (saw the XM by the way, holy hell that thing is strange) and a bunch of CAs and the SM were in his office, they said there’s are being held at the port until the 8th. Maybe that’s what your guys hold up is.

Side note, they have a ton of orders and deposits in on the regular XM and Red Label edition.
