Lucky you, my car is also ready for transport but my CA and his manager insist they’re unable to add 0Z58/Z58 m performance suspension and encouraging me to have it done with service and parts dept at the dealer after delivery.

Have they given you a reason? Is it showing out of stock? That’s the only legitimate reason. Even then, it was showing OOS for me as well and my SM reached out to BMWNA and they added back in for me saying it would be in stock by the time my car would get to the port.

Maybe they’re trying to get those dollars for their Service department? No reason Raven could get his added and you can’t. You’re both at the same stage. I’d press for answers.

It’s considerably more expense getting it done at the dealer, it’s not on the Moroney, half the warranty.

Definitely not. As long as it’s at least a day away from the port you can add but then of course you could face additional delays and run the risk of it being OOS.

My CA couldn’t do it on his end. He had to reach out to a regional/corporate rep. I believe Game said it was showing backordered when I asked. I wouldn’t be surprised if I screwed myself out of a month just to get that part port installed, honestly. Better than paying the crazy inflated dealer labor costs. I’m also too new to Denver and don’t trust any of the local performance shops either.

Yes, unfortunately it doesn’t seem Jorge’s CA is putting much effort into getting it on his car.

You’ll have the option to forego once it reaches the VDC. Hopefully not that long of a wait.

Guy at BMW Genius seems to think there are trucking delays. Not sure what to make of that. My car is enjoying a month of vacationing in Mexico. I’m a little jealous of that to be honest

No clue, sorry. I’m sure your CA has a good idea of the approximate timeline. Also, reach out to to Canadians on the G20 & G42 subs and ask them.

Another genius told me the same thing today. My car finished production on 5/6 and the last update they have received is that it left the factory on 5/10. As far as they can tell it is not at the port and even if it is at the port, it has no vessel assignment yet.
