BMW would not be the manufacturer to "develop" a kit. Thatbwould be one of the spring companies they contract with, and as of now, its KW. The M Performance HAS and coils are made by KW but not the same product as what is purchased through retailers (whether there is any difference, that is an unknown but the parts are made by a different division at KW and can only be purchased through BMW/M Performance).

So what’s the final verdict? Wait until bmw possibly puts out a specific MP HAS or this current one will be it for the M2?

Final verdict: No one is making a kit specifically for the M2.

BMW, KW, H&R and AST all confirmed same kit.

MP HAS kit it is then just in case it decides to blow a shock. The only downside is that the MP kit is a bit conservative but I’m hoping it will settle lower over time as I’ve see other kits do. My Eibach springs on a 1 series kept settling up to a whole year and now sits a lot lower than I would’ve liked

What is the "MP" in your HAS kit description?

Not sure what you are asking. If what MP stands for, its M Performance. Otherwise, don't have a clue what you are asking.

MP HAS lowered all the way down is pretty low. Personally I wouldn't want to go any lower than this.

Are you running spacers? If so, what size? Height looks perfect.

If your sole reason for waiting is to see what they come out with, I cannot say I would be waiting on Carbahn for anything better/different. KW and H&R are the leaders in research, design and manufacturing.

I'm willing to wait and see. My car is out of commission and if I do anything it'll be a winter project.

I knew that was a contributing factor in the wait, was trying not to bring it up.

It still doesn't change my stance that if a shock/strut fails with a HAS installed, I would still prefer to have the M Performance HAS port installed and it be covered under the full manufacturers warranty and no risk of warranty coverage being denied because of an aftermarket part.
I’m curious if one hasn’t driven a car with the MP HAS, how/why do you find it lacking to the point of looking/waiting for an aftermarket solution that doesn’t exist?

Of course I’m not close to a pro weekend track warrior but find the stance is beautiful to me and the performance on the track incredible. If not competing on the track what more are you looking for?

Coming in a little late here as I've been on travel and haven't been able to drive the M2 in a while. I had the MP HAS installed by my local independent shop 2 weeks ago. I did the max drop. Spacers 15mm rear + 12 mm front (I think the fronts could push out another 2-3 mm). Sorry I don't have good pictures right now, but it looks the same as "Rons e92" does in his prior post. To me the height looks perfect (I'm not into the super low slammed look). The rear is about 10-12 mm higher than the front so there is a little amount of rake, which I like. As for the driving feel, around town and local country roads I can't really discern a difference compared to the stock springs. For suspension settings, I drive in sport (my M1) mostly, and occasionally sport-plus (my M2). Firm but what you would expect. TBH, I've been pleasantly surprised with the manners and compliance of the M2, and that continues w/the MP HAS system. Maybe the spring difference between the M2 and M3/4 are small, and only a pro driver or somebody way more experienced than me could tell the difference.

Thanks. I would have it done anyway, so why not have it as part of the build.

With the HAS dropped all the way down and 12mm spacers in the front are you seeing any rubbing with the wheel cranked like while backing up / out for example?
