exactly... that went completely out of the window the moment everyone turned to strictly volume sales and the m brand was entirely commodified... i remember back in the mid 2000s... an e46 m3 was a joy to see and rare in the world where it was limited to a niche crowd of well off enthusiasts... today, an m3... is really just another car
