Was watching like a hawk but could never confirm anything. Definitely familiar with seeing the name Glovis. Stopped looking for my own sanity. I’ll keep an eye out for any ships with leader. Thanks

Do you know it is getting unloaded in Tampa? I know the ship is going there, but did not think BMW had a VPC there. Other manufacturers do. next stop is the VPC in Baltimore i believe.
you know...you make a good point...i do not know for certain that its getting unloaded in tampa...i just assumed that it would as it is heading there first...mmmmhhh...i guess ill find out?

Edit: Now looking at the port of tampa...i believe you are correct...there is no room to unload cars there...the brunswick port does...so if that is the case...then it is going to tampa and then Brunswick?....idk lol

Mine was released to the carrier on 2/6, got on a boat on 2/27 (Vela Leader) which got to Port Hueneme on 3/4. Maybe yours just missed the ship? Should be on it's way soon hopefully.

I'm aboard the Grand Mercury as well. It looks like it left Veracruz on 3/4 and booked it across the gulf to Tampa (should arrive tomorrow morning). I imagine it'll go around FL and up the east coast afterwards. Your dealership can pull a vehicle inquiry, which includes a Port Loc -- mine is SSIPOA (Brunswick, GA). This should tell you what port it'll arrive in. I was able to check the Brunswick port authority's website, which has a 14-day outlook schedule listing when ships are expected to arrive. Currently showing the Grand Mercury on 3/12. If that's not your entry location as well, I imagine other PA's have something similar you can check.

Fully acknowledging the level of obsession in tracking this . I keep reminding myself that the car is on its way and won't move any faster whether I check the status or not!

Awesome man. I’m glad to hear you’ll have yours soon. No sarcasm lol. Did you have any port options? Wondering if my MPHAS is the hold up. Even worse if its hold up for the arm rest. Ugh.

Thanks man! No port installed options for me. Hoping to get it soon.

The website updated today to show "scheduled for production", status 112. Genius said week 14 so based on others I expect to see a change to status 150 and a VIN in a couple weeks.

111: 02/25
112: 03/07 (week 14 production date)

I thought so as well, I was expecting a mid to late June delivery, but hoping late April / early May may be possible now

Original build week was March 17th.

Pure speculation, I am in the Caribbean so maybe we are being pushed forward because the tariffs have zero effect on us.

A small push wouldn't hurt. I'm out of the country until mid-May so I'm not in a huge hurry lol. Would be nice to have the car waiting for me at the dealership when I get home.

I'm in good company! I'm in Maryland so mine doesn't have far to go once it lands. Just needs to wait for MPHAS JG allocation on 1 August 2024

How did you find out it was released from the VPC? Was it just because it was on a truck headed to the dealer? And did your dealer have a heads up that the truck was en route to them?

appears the ship is running behind sked. originally it was supposed to be in Baltimore on 11MAR, but looks like it stops in Brunswick on 10MAR first. Probably 15MAR in to Baltimore.
