This thread has been a little quiet these past few days, so let me revive it with today’s add on

I cut a hole on the tow cap myself using a rotary dremel tool and it came out pretty decent

It’s black ppf, looks like paint, doesn’t orange peel like glossy vinyl does

How much did you pay for that roof ppf?

Thought it was pretty funny to see your car featured with the same pics on the Sly Bracket website when I was checking it out. You're famous

Went to visit the parents and had difficulty getting up the driveway initially because of the front lip. 😩

Did some initial coding with Bimmercode. Coded in 5 blink turn signals, startup warning delete, seatbelt reminder delete, B&W sound profiles (feels like a huge diff!). Gonna work on interior lights (I think I need to go into M3 settings for that) and then anti-dazzle.

Anyone know how to specify the color of the car and wheels using bimmercode?

Although the Model Y P has the traction off the line, 0-160km/h (0-100mph) is around 9.1 secs compared with about 8.9 secs for the manual G87. I would expect the G87 would be ahead by the Coquihalla speed limit

Thanks! None of the dealers around me had the same spec with the bi-color wheels so I had to place an order back in November. Delivery was quick

What setup did you go with? What settings, any spacers?

I don't quite have my car; according to my CA it should be leaving the Port of Baltimore on a carrier in the next couple days so some time next week it shall be mine.

Today I ordered the the BMW all weather floor mats both front and rear sets, and a set of Conti extreme contact all season tires-- stock tire sizes to go on the stock wheels. I wanted to do winter tires but options are very limited and pricey. Once I receive them I will drop them off at the dealer so they can get them on the car prior to delivery.

Hi JM, went with the Evolve UK “Stance Kit” with springs and spacers.

Springs: 35mm front and 30mm rear drops.

Spacers: 15MM front and 12MM rear spacers.(though I ended up putting the 15MM ones on the rear, looks beef)

Pardon me for jumping off topic, but I’m curious how the forum gang is doing on gas mileage. I’m hitting the gas station more often that I anticipated, but I have my heavy right foot to blame for that. I’d be impressed if anyone has a monthly average in excess of 21mpg due to the amount of restraint that would require.

I am doing a bit better than you. I think I’m about 18.8

Took delivery this morning and installed the Mishimoto skid plate and 15/18mm spacers with winter tires mounted on 826M’s. The 826M’s will get powder coated in the spring and become my summer wheels.

Excellent. I will be picking up some 826Ms eventually. What winter tires did you go with?

I actually bought the whole setup used (but like new) from a guy in Indianapolis for $2k. Tires are Michelin Pilot Alpin’s, but they’re mixed versions. Fronts are 275/35r19 PA4’s and rears are 295/30r20 5’s. They’ll get swapped to the 930’s for next winter.
