Hello from northern AZ, mostly been lurking around looking at pictures and reading threads about G87 M2. Just got a call from sales rep yesterday, allocation received. Very excited to join you all and meet new enthusiasts.

BSM with Cognac. 6 speed!

Also just excited to try new car, first brand new car ever haha. Eloped once from BMW but ultimately came back haha (135i -> F80 M3 -> RS3 8V) Can not wait to try out G chassis with S58!

Nearly 40 days on the app for me. It's not super accurate, and your car was likely finished within a week of final assembly status. My car was ready for transport for 3 weeks until it updated on the tracker.

Ask your CA for a more accurate status.

I know things were very variable with the launch allocations, initial production and the various sales stop issues.

But now with MY2024 kicking in, what is the consensus/expectation on time from allocation becoming available (mine happened today) and delivery to the east coast?

Is it on the order of 4 months? (hoping )

Average is around 4 months with no delays. Mine is taking over 5, Greg's took under 2. Cross your fingers

Congrats. If you are up near Flag highly suggest taking the G87 on the old 89a down from Flag to Sedona. Fun little stretch for a spirited drive

Fresh off the press - seems like production is just now starting to ramp markedly. This will hopefully drive increased vessel volume to improve shipping lead times going forward. We shall see how things look towards the end of the year.

Thanks. I was just trying to get a feel if things are likely to move more smoothly going forward without the HEA and stop sale issues.

4-5 months would not be bad, but puts me in the winter for delivery.

Also just got allocation yesterday 7/29. Been in line since right before the US builder got the G87. Was still 6th in line last month at my dealer, so maybe a bit of production bandwidth was added.

BSM/bicolor/cognac/6MT/no carbon/no shadow, beyond excited to park it next to my '02 325Ci with similar color combo, which I also picked up PCD.

Dont get MP HAS if you don't want a delay. Who knows when mine will leave the VPC.

A few months of delay is ok with me. My build is carbon package, and MP HAS.
