Congrats man! Did you get any indication when it would be built? Are you going to keep or sell your M2C? Just curious.

LBB is the best F87 M2 color imo

I will likely sell the F87. It is a manual LBB, Aug 2021 car with <3000 miles so I hope it'll sell easily

Got my allocation 7/28. Brooklyn Grey, lighting package and carbon roof. Put the deposit down 11/22, my CA said they got all the allocations for the rest of the year this month so i'm in despite being 3rd in line.

I think sometimes these CAs just like to hear themselves talk. I don't know how he would even know that.

I landed an allocation on Friday, July 28 by making a phone call to a dealer in Central Texas after reading about the 900 allocations that dropped that day.

Lucky me, they just happen to have an unspoken allocation at MSRP*...

...the sales person was trying to sell me some add-ons without value and after telling her NOPE she came back with the order sheet at MSRP .

If I am lucky, I will get delivery by Christmas

I don’t know what lottery I won, but I stopped at my local dealer in April to get on the wait list. No deposit needed for the wait list and they sell at sticker with no add ons. I stopped by again in late June to test drive a M340 x-drive (“the closest thing we have to an M2 we have for you to try out” - haha) and my CA had me create a build. I was told I was #12 at that point. 1-2 weeks later I was told I had the first allocation and they submitted my build.

How did I go from 12 to 1?

It hit the production queue on July 18, hit final assembly on 7/27. In purgatory since.

Also, still no deposit collected…

Here is my build list. Added MP Suspension.

Yes this is now $80K car. But a loaded M4 is $105K.. if they would let you add CCB with exterior carbon package. I would be at $95K.

I’m looking at $15K in mods anyways.. lol I may switch over to CCBs. The kit is like $13K I think.

Yes, it can add up very quick. I'm $1K less than yours on my build.

I’m at Order Recieved also. Is it possible the BMW NA has a production build week that isn’t showing yet, and I could obtain it if I called them?
