Does anyone else see a vertical line in the camo behind the front wheel that may be hiding a fender vent? Or is it just me trying too hard to see something?

Almost looks like they’ve fixed the rear bumper for the better

Wishful thinking

Looks to me like the rear wheels are 20s and the front are 18s... They look much different in size front to rear here than the standard staggered setup up.

I like square setups myself and the front and back to be the same diameter for sure.. but this looks too exaggerated on this car.

I just enjoy them. I had them previously on an M4CS and went back to an e92 m3 to scratch that v8 itch. When I came back to the F8x with my current comp, it didn’t have CCB’s so I retrofitted them.

Clean wheels and no rust when washing is a massive bonus but they look amazing and they Definately change the feel through the steering wheel. Not a lot, but they do

I see what your getting at, I’m not convinced though. I think it’s the camo playing tricks.

Would be epic if they gave the CS a functioning fender vent.

Only thing I see in the rear that's different is the trunk lid with the integrated ducktail spoiler, rest is the same.

Style 825M wheels are 19F/20R. I get what you're saying though, and attribute it to the machined lip on the wheels. Anytime I see wheels with a machined silver lip they always look a size smaller than they really are. Lots of MBs have that finish on their wheels too and their 19's also look like 18's.

Also seems to be a red car, wonder what exclusive CS colours we will get. This hasn’t been BMW’s strong point lately…

Hard to say with camouflage

But I’m mostly being optimistic

What exactly would they do for a comp mode though? Can’t raise the power much without M3/M4 infringement (especially when stock car basically dynos at current M4 power) and comps didn’t get anything visually different other than black badges. The OG M2 to Comp were big changes because the OG got “ripped off” for the “M exclusives” that they turned around and added to the Comp model as the upgrades. The G87 comes with all the big ticket M goodies already…

The CS makes sense since it will have all the CS design cues (lip, trunk, hood etc) and the power bump which justifies the price jump. It will probably also lack an armrest as well!

CS sooner, and possible CSL before end of life cycle would make the most sense… if any of them get a 6MT, they would have a massive winner I would say!

Ya I know they are 19/20, but for some reason the fronts look even smaller than the 19s… just visually. May be partly the tire looks like a smaller sidewall than the rear making the wheel look smaller, even the wheel gap looks different F/R… no idea, but sure looks a bit silly to me.

100% this. The G87 is a Comp in all but name already. They loaded the G87 up with almost everything except cosmetics (paint colors, etc). Not sure what else they would offer.

As we discussed earlier, I'd love that, as well as a couple of other tech options the G87 doesn't have. But I don't think it's enough to justify a Comp as a separate SKU.

Sarcasm just doesn’t quite come across the same in the written word.

Would still love that 360 camera though.
