dude it's japan, not indonesia. they're probably the most prepared and drilled people in the world, as far as disasters are concerned. they don't fuck around with tsunami warnings. i'm sure it will be more than 1000, but 100k...highly improbable. that would have to be a direct hit to tokyo or something comparable.

i got an email back from my friend tatsuki. he lives in tokyo and said he's okay, but cannot reach his family in yamagata prefecture. he basically said the damage isn't totally bad in tokyo, but there's broken stuff inside his apartment and public places.

Tokyo has a pretty amazing drainage system from what I've heard, must better than up north where it's not as populated
