For those dropped off in Baltimore, I just called Genius. My dealer is in Durham, NC and Genius said I’m scheduled to get on a truck on Wednesday, 11/22. They then estimate to the dealer in 24 hours…which of course is Thanksgiving. So I’m hoping I can take delivery Friday or Saturday, but I’m sure it will be busy.

Just a quick update for Balt folks - all of us are likely scheduled out of there on the 22nd. I appear to be the 3rd or 4th told that. So port installs or not, expect 22nd... not sure how that is possible but lets roll with it!

I was also told even to a Minneapolis dealership the longest travel time is around 4 days and to expect it this coming weekend (even with the holiday).

just did an updated estimated distance calculation - looks like we're 46nm away or like 7 hours at its current speed, so its either going to speed up or we're getting there later than 1:30

Yeah I have that from vessel finder (have gps until eom) but estimated time is based on speed, and the reported eta is when they say they’ll be there.

Yeah I'm in Baltimore and called them and was told the same thing just now. Estimated to be picked up by a truck on the 22nd. I'll take it.

true, think the wind is behind them. Think the VDC only works until 3, so we are prob looking at tuesday processing almost anyway.

I called as well and was told the same thing as everybody else: Going to be released to trucking on 11/22. I was also told that my vehicle is scheduled to be at the dealership in Michigan on Friday.

Hopefully this isn't another one of the generic Genius answers.

Biggest determinant will be having the berthing space and the tugs to bring her in.

If it all goes like Sparrows Point, VDC will be processing cars tomorrow 7AM.

The fact that she is steaming at good speed, leads me to believe everything is set to bring her straight in. 🤞

I left a message with my CA this morning to see if they have access to any additional info. Would feel more confident with them confirming it than just Genius, for the very reason you stated.

My car is in Baltimore and my dealer is in Charlotte, NC. I talked to my CA this morning and he said he believes the car will be ready next Monday or Tuesday. I personally am really hoping it'll be ready Saturday, assuming it leaves Baltimore on a truck on Wednesday.

Sunrise unloaded 822 BMWs in Baltimore. Thats quite a bit. And seems like some already have carrier deliveries scheduled. They move pretty quick in Baltimore it seems.
