There's no reason you can't post photos from your own city. Every city I've ever been to has had some claim to fame or point of interest. You don't have to travel to contribute. I've posted photos from my hometown before and even stumped (well partially stumped ) one of the best at this game.

This is a great point. I was just talking to my wife the other day about this topic. We travel quite a bit and have been fortunate enough to visit many countries over the years. But we don't spend much time enjoying some of the places right in our own "backyard" so to speak.

I'll be looking for photos from our area to post.

Unfortunately you're too late, the hotel is closed since Sabine's passing. I was fortunate to stay there in 2017 and have a photo taken with the Queen of the Ring herself. She was an incredible hostess and a wonderful person. It's not fair that someone like her was taken so young.

I'm curious, did you find the photo on Trip Advisor?

Agreed. I consider myself very fortunate to have met her in person and share a small part of her dream in the Longhorn Saloon. I watched Pioneer Log Homes build her hotel in British Columbia on the TV series Timber Kings. It was a wonderful opportunity to stay in her hotel and share some time with her.
