Glovis Spirit is now docked at VeraCruz. Let's hope it's picking up some of our cars and heading up the east coast. Still not sure if our cars are at VeraCruz or Altamira. Glovis Spirit did just go to Altamira. It's also a ship that's carried BMW cars in the past looking at some older posts. I really haven't found Bravery Ace picking up BMW cars but I could be mistaken.

Mine still shows in transit For those of you who have received their car recently, how long does it usually take for it to get from at the port to on the truck? I'm really banking on it not taking more than a week to get through the second quality check.

Still in transit over here too. Hoping RCC Amsterdam arrives in NJ by the 7th as originally estimated. My CA's screenshot shows Port Bayonne as the entry port. Was doing some digging on previous NY/NJ deliveries and looks like the turnaround time was only 2-3 business days from arriving at port to delivery at dealership. Almost there!

yeah 2-3 days at the port after like 5 months of waiting is nothing! So excited to take the wrapping off and take the first drive

Man this waiting game seems to keep dragging on for me. Anyone have a clue as to why my vehicle has been in "ASSEMBLY IN PROGRESS" status since 6/30?

Order / Build: 11/2021
Allocation: 01/2022
- was supposed to be a mid-March build date but due an issue production was moved to week 26.
Build Start / 150 Status: June 27th
- Production Begins: 06/27
- ASSEMBLY IN PROGRESS: 6/27
- Paint Booth: 6/28
- Assembly Line: 6/30
- Assembly in Progress: 06/30

After reading this thread it appears that most of you all are in the same boat, so I was just curious as to your ideas as to why I'm stuck on "ASSEMBLY IN PROGRESS" status for almost a week?

My car arrived port hueneme about three weeks ago, was assigned a carrier almost instantly, and has just been sitting there for about three weeks. No word on when they will actually have a driver for me. For those of you who are in the same boat it looks like theres still turbulent water even when cars arrive stateside.

You should do the google chrome trick people have been posting in here and see when your production date is. Might give you a bit more clarity.

More info for you. I went into Entering Assembly Line on 6/10 and I hit Ready for Transport on 6/24. I've been sitting there ever since.

And for the trifecta:

I just called BMW Genius, and I swear this can't even be the same company. The last time I spoke to someone was on 6/27. She knew so much info. She knew if completed production 6/22, she knew it left the factory on 6/24. She said it was traveling by rail to Veracruz, and should be there in a week. She was the one who told me to call back in a week for an update.

This guy I just spoke to was clueless. He said he didn't have an order status code, their system doesn't show that. He also said that he has no updates, he doesn't know which port it's leaving from and can't confirm if it's even traveling by train. I swear this can't be the same number I called last week. I'm baffled right now. What a complete waste of 16 minutes.

According to "Bobby", the next update will come when it's actually loaded on a ship. Outside of that, he knew nothing.

I'm not calling genius again until I know for sure this car is on a ship.

Had the exact same experience. Last person I spoke to said I was at the port already was assigned to a vessel but it wouldnt show him which one until I was actually on it. Called today and the woman had no clue about anything just said its still on it's way to the port. Exactly what it says when looking at my garage.

It sounds like you called BMW's German customer service. There you can find out almost nothing about the current status.

I just checked mine too and it says "At the Port".

Does that mean the port in Mexico or the port in NY? I don't even know which ship and I called yesterday lol.

Wait so Genius said your on Glovis Spirit?? I'm also updated to at the port but when I called yesterday they were clueless. Im taking this as I'm still not on a ship but if you called and said your on Glovis Spirit that might mean I'm also on that ship as well as others.

That's the ship I had been looking at, and when I saw it departed VeraCruz is when I figured I'd call Genius, which was yesterday to see if I was on that vessel but they had no info for me. I was a little bummed out because I couldnt see anything arriving soon and thought it might be another 3-4 weeks before it got picked up. But this is great news now!! ALMOST THERE!!

+1 on something is up/different with Genius.

I've always had very friendly banter with them .Joking on how I probably call too much now that delivery is in sight, they'd give me a hard time or tell me to call as much as I want they'd be excited too.

Last time the lady was very short with me and was giving me attitude. I was very much taking the position of "sorry to bother you all daily but I'd just like to know if there's an updated ETA" and she was short tempered, "Sir I cant tell you anything I only know what the system shows me" (in an annoyed tone)...

Sheesh, maybe they were just having a bad day but reading this thread makes me wonder.

At any rate, still no updated date for me. ETA for dealership delivery still shows 7/2 in their system.
