Why can't he simply be one of your favorite "actors" or favorite "celebs"...?
Never mind, don't answer that.

I remember watching that as a kid but can't tell you much about it because you know, I'm old.

To answer your question, he isn't my favorite actor or celeb. Will Smith would probably be that dude but in the much broader category of race, Denzel would be my No 1 ninja. If I was gay, I'd be mad gay for Denzel. Tiger and Bron are my favorite athletes. Chappelle is my favorite comedian. And finally, my favorite singer/artist is Chinese. So you see how Denzel being my favorite African American comes into context. If you and FwdFtl are offended then lets all remember Billup's comment on NBA players and monkeys

I wouldn't say offended. Corny would be a better choice.
As far as comparing or rating it to some other dumbass comment, do you really think there should be a ratings scale? Anywho, I prefer NOT to degrade a legitimate thread, actor, and movie. Thanks.

I remember the original TV series, the best part of which was the theme song which was written by Stewart Copeland of the Police.
(for you young whippersnappers on here; the Police were a big band in the 80's. There are 2 kinds of people: those who think the Police were awesome, and those who are wrong.)
