Hello everyone, I'm looking for a nice time away from the city (So-cal), would any of you from past experience recommend anywhere near the beach with very little people and great scenery somewhere on the West Coast. I'd really appreciate any input. Thanks alot and happy holidays!

well if you wanted to get away for a bit monterey and montecito both have amazing views. They're a bit of a drive for you but they'll probably be pretty abandoned since most folk flock to tahoe for the winter. I know theres a holiday inn near monterey thats right next to the beach.
