Upgrade to a Range Rover?

So how much will I miss my 3 if I upgrade to a 1 year old supercharged Range Rover?

For safety sake, its heavier but it will probably handle most crashes better than the 3. That car will probably also deter me from speeding as much. I have my gixxer for the speed fix.

Alternative is to get a 335i.

Fixed that for you.

RR makes cars for cruising and off-roading, not driving.

i heard that rr's aren't reliable. the 335 gets much better gas mileage but in the range rover u have more room for the kids or your wife gf parked somewhere.

I'm moving to San Francisco bay area and will be going on trips to Tahoe and other places so I figure the extra space wouldn't hurt. Its a good car to go out in since you can throw a bunch of people in the back.

I hope if I do it I wont get that affect because I'm not expecting anything sporty. Its just a powerful truck thats got lots of room and class.

Although the interior on the X5 is better...

Lots of people have this wrong idea about SUVs handling crashes better than sedans, the truth is that most SUVs are actually more dangerous, do a bit of research and you'll know what am talking about.

Safety aside, you will get bored of that RR pretty quickly and it's the most unreliable car I've ever heard of, hydraulic failure, supercharger failure, burning bulbs, wind noise, crappy materials, you name it.

Get an X5 you won't be disappointed.

now, if ur getting the X5, make sure to get the 4.8. then you will be satisfied with the transition from sport coupe to sav.

I didn't say that yet, but I do say it now
It may be more expensive, but nothing in the Range Rover is worth the extra $ you pay. Have you seen the interior and quality of materials inside the cabin? Not even close to BMW's build quality, they even got some buttons made like BMW buttons but are easily distinguished by the plastic's quality. My father has a RR and I would never exchange cars with him not even if he asks me to.
