What are you munching on? I've been OD'ing on Aldi's Tuscan Trail Mix.

This stuff is evil incarnate. Once you start, you'll be lucky to stop at 1/4 bag. At 160/cal per serving and 26 servings per bag, I shudder to think of the consequences of my bingeing.

What do you munch to satisfy the salt or sweet cravings?

Side note: Serious health gurus need not reply here. I know I shouldn't be eating this stuff, yada, yada, yada...

Homemade apple cake & deserts. I tell myself it’s all organic or natural so I’m o.k. but I’m eating way too much of it.

Also like homemade bagels with butter late at night.

A guy I used to work with about 20 years ago who wasn't all that bright said one of the smartest things to me. Everything in moderation, including moderation.....

We're living in bizarre times, enjoy your trail mix. I've been snacking on potato chips off and on but also had a hankering for caramel corn, and some Hagan Das Chocolate Peanut Butter ice cream, sweet and salty. Funny thing is I'm down about 5 pounds. I guess I'm working on the first moderation rather than the second.

Carrots and string beans. I don't know where the local farm stand is getting them from out-of-season (snow on the ground this morning) or how they are able to sell pound-sized bags for a dollar each, but our produce drawer in the fridge is full of them and they make good snacks during lockdown.....

Recently....its's been Salsa and Chips. My wife bought me a jar of the Hot version of "On the Border" salsa a few weeks back. Got around to trying it and I went through the entire jar before I knew it.

It's been a staple in the house ever since!

Like Murf993 said...I think moderation is the key.

I eat pretty strictly, but nothing wrong with enjoying things you like as long as you don't go overboard.

My roommate is the root of all evil.
He bought pretzels with peanut butter fillings - at first I was thinking it was going to be horrible. It wasn't.

Good thing I'm too lazy to grab a pack or three for myself, otherwise I'll be 600lb by the end of the year.
