I'm excited for this because they will truly give BMW "real-world" R&D without having to really experiment with BMW branded vehicles. That's not to say MINI will be providing a sub-par product but those who buy MINIs want a MINI and features matter less than wanting a relatively small city car vs. a BMW where everything matters.
My hope is that when MINI goes full electric by 2030, that helps accelerate things into BMW EVs while they're still doing ICE. |

Oh good, looks even bigger than the F56. Exactly what it didn't need. The two motors in the current one are absolutely horrible, so anything is better, even batteries.
