Transmission:

• 8 speed Sport Steptronic transmission
• Sprint function (part of the optional Shadowline Package for 230i): allows transmission to automatically shift into lowest usable gear when the driver pulls left-hand shift paddle for at least one
  second. All of the powertrain and chassis systems are switched to their sharpest sport settings.
• M Sport rear differential standard in M240i xDrive

• Two-joint spring strut front suspension / five-link rear suspension

Styling: I like. It's not revolutionary.
Interior: I'm very jealous over my F22. I know it's little.. but ambient lighting would be nice.
Power: It'll be a rocket.

The only thing I can't get around are the headlights. Don't scream BMW to me.

Overall, I like it. Can't wait for the m2.

Styling is still overdone and unnecessarily busy, but much much better and more restrained than the G8x. A good sign at least.

Why does the M240i have M mirrors and my OG M2 doesn't? 😔

I really don't like it. Front bumper vents are very awkward. The headlights look cheap and are sitting in a weird position. The side mirrors don't flow with the car. The rear end is so oddly boxy and the tail lights are not premium looking either. This car looks like a cheapening of the F87 on the outside. Maybe the M2 can ressurect something out of this, but so far I feel as though they are trying to make the 2 series look cheap to make the gaudy M3 and M4 seem more appealing.

I want to like it, but it's a no for me. It's good to see BMW going with some bold colors lately though.
