Tag, thanks for posting pix and link. I'm good with the car and going for ZB as my color choice and M sports seats.

Looks like they did not like the feedback they were getting of their “halo” launch color if it’s now been pushed to the side with just a few pictures, and instead replaced with Toronto red for all the in-depth reviews, debut with the leader of M, and the substantial press photos they gave for it (vs blue).

Disappointed, I wanted to see if the blue looks better in other settings. Instead we’re left with a handful of pics, and a few frames of one of their teaser videos.

I do not know your location, but the United States is only getting two seat options, the sports seats are standard even though everyone swore that we were not getting them. Tag I believe you were one of them. I am just giving you a hard time. The carbon buckets are the only option.

One of the most interesting optional extras on the new BMW M2 is the carbon fiber sport bucket seat. It’s the same seat that you’ll find as a pricey option on the M3 and M4 and it’s a great seat if you’re relatively small, like myself. If you’re a larger person, you’ll struggle to fit but, if you can fit, they’re excellent for both comfort and road-holding. If you don’t want those seats, and prefer your thighs to remain free of a divider, then you can nix the option and stick with standard seats. The U.S. market gets the M Sport Seats and Carbon Bucket Seats, while others market will get a third option of basic seats.

It does look great in Tred. But I am over red cars. I have always been a fan of Porsche Gulf Blue and Zblue resembles it, and my choice. I hope to see the new M2 this weekend at BMW PCD in person and I hope they have a Zandvoort Blue one to see.

If ZB looks like the screenshots that I took from the YT video then I would be all over it. Edit: The next two screenshots that I took of the same video shows the same color we have seen via all the leaks.

Nice to have those seat options. Primarily street drivers like me, logical choice is the base sport seat. Those who want the extreme bolstering and nut breaker between your thighs, the carbon bucks are available. Win/win.

That said - that Jumbotron iDrive 8 abomination on the dash, with its video game gauge displays, is a complete show-stopper for me, along with much of the exterior design. But I suspect it will still be a huge success, especially if they can keep the cost to a reasonable number, with reasonable delivery times and minimal dealer gouging.

Love the car but not my favorite color. Then again, I never liked any of the launch colors as they are too attention grabbing for my taste, e.g. Phoenix yellow, Austin yellow, Isle of Man green, São Paulo yellow, etc.

Those seats in the Euro mule were the real deal, it was always just the question of what markets were getting them. I would have put money down the US would get those terrible seats. I thought is was needed to keep the price down(and possibly save them for the M2 Comp). Really surprised it is $62k and has M4 seats standard. The colorway looks good. They could have priced this thing near $60k with M240i seats standard.
