Dammit! That looks so good and for me it would look even better with the bi-color wheels.

That car was already posted in another thread. That side view of the G87 does seem to be the most flattering angle of the design. This other picture of the same car also looks great. The huge rear hips and lower rocker panels look fantastic.

Really good depiction of Toronto Red. I've seen other pictures of this exact car in the same spot that was a glowing red.

Nice to see this in varied natural lighting conditions. Simply the best color for the shape.

It's because the F87 looks better.

But as someone who's looking to upgrade my F23 in the next 2-3 years, the G87 is a prime candidate. That and the Supra.

NGL, if Toyota came out with a higher powered, tuned Supra that would be comparable to the M2C but not exactly like a M2 spec/spec, I think I would pick the Supra over the M2.

Incorrect, F87 looks soft, dated, short and cartoonish.

Someone else's opinion of the F87 looks is neither correct nor incorrect, just an opinion.

IMO they nailed it with the flagship promotional color

I beg to differ about the F87, but the G87 looks pretty good too.

I personally agree, never really liked the past gen 2 series because the body was too high and 'fat' while the roof was very low. Looked cartoonist to me.

Meh, it only makes the F87 look dated because the F87 is no longer the newest design. However it doesn't change the fundamental aesthetics of the F87, which remain universally acclaimed. I think it will age well, and hold it's own against the E46.

That all said, my reaction to the G87 is positive. Front and side looks good to me. Still digesting the rear, but in no way repulsed by it like I was when I saw the M3/4 grills.

When I'm done with my F87, will definitely grab either BSM or TR. I think they look great.

After reacquainting myself with all of the other options on the market, I can say that both the F87 and G87 are excellent, unique products. Both sit at the top of their class. They obviously try to do different things design-wise, and that’s OK. In my opinion, both have a place.

Most importantly, the G87 looks to continue the tradition of a top-tier experience behind the wheel.

This is the first time since the E46 M3 that I've fallen head over heals in love. It's brutishly simple. The regular 2 series coupe looks awkward and dowdy. However, the wider flanks bring the single lens headlights and inverted taillights to life. I always pay cash for my cars, and for that reason I've never been able to justify buying a new one. This will be the first (and I've owned a lot of BMW's)

What in the heck is this? Maybe the angle? But geez. Looks out of place… maybe someone can make some carbon bits to blend it into the bumper?

Not feeling the orange red color.
This is the worst color palate ever offered on M car. Much rather have the 240i available colors.
