Has anybody tried yellow DRL headlight on 2 series?

I see some pictures of G8x BMWs with yellow DRL and it looks awesome to me. I am planning to get an upcoming M2 next yeer and was looking to see whether anybody has tried yellow DRL on current generation 2 series. My goal is to go for brooklyn grey+yellow DRL headlight. Please let me know, thanks!

Do keep in mind that the M2s headlights will be different from the G42 230 and M240i headlights

I am interested as well, do think it would look awesome with Brooklyn Gray

They have the part for sale now. It has g42 listed

https://ind-distribution.com/product..._medium=Social

Edit: heard back from them about the install

"Thank you for your email. You do not need to open the headlight for these. The LED module is located on the back of the headlight and is accesible by removing the front wheel and fender liner. Once the module is out simply change out the LED board with the new unit we are providing. We should have a DIY up shortly, just did the first install here yesterday."

will the turn signals still turn amber? tbh, I feel like this is more "classy" than people yellow tinting their whole headlight

15 years ago everybody hated the stock yellowish halos and many “upgraded” to super-bright aftermarket stuff. Fast forward and now some people want the old look back. Hilarious.

Has anyone tried these? How's the install; pretty simple?

I recently saw a Kia Stinger in a color similar to Brooklyn Grey with amber DRL's similar to the G42 and it looked amazing!

So true, lol

The yellow does look nice though. Flashback to 2014, one of the first mods on my BRZ was to make the OEM fogs yellow...everything white looks like crap IMO. I remember a pickup truck guy I know telling me "man, you gotta get rid of that yellow and swap in all white LED's"

I think non-car people prefer white everything

I think it’s a regional thing. It was talked about in the UK forums and the majority hated yellow lights. Probably a throwback to the days of painting the lights yellow to comply with driving regulations on holidays to France.

ETTO but personally for me it’s in the category of chameleon tints, blacked out lights and cognac seats.

I go back and forth with them, one day I think they look cool the next day I think it brings the car back in time 20 years (from a lighting perspective).
