Which Interior Color to Pair With TR

Recently saw a TR X3M and also just purchased another G20 that happens to have the cognac sensatec interior. Both TR and cognac are more orange than the pictures show and I cannot quiet picture in my head if they would work or clash. How would your order your TR?

I’d do black with M highlights.

I spec’ed TR with black M highlight as soon as the order bank opened but I switched to cognac several weeks ago. I might switch back to black M highlight as I keep waffling.

I switched my order from AW/Black w/highlights to TR/Cognac; because I think I can replace the seat backs with carbon or Alcantara. The black plastic on the back looks pretty rough with Cognac.

If you plan to keep those stock, I think the best spec would be TR/Black no highlight bc it looks too busy with the highlights and whatever caliper choice you have IMO.

If they offered a Fiona or Silverstone interior those would be my choices over Cognac.

Just remember if you select the black seats they come with blue contrast stitching like the original M2.If you order the black seats with the M colors you don’t get the blue contrast stitching.

Totally comes down to personal preference IMHO. Any of the seat options would look great with TR. Colors like Cognac work really well with red, and black always works. No bad choices here.

If you get TR with blue calipers they'd complement the black seats with blue stitching.

That color combo just works so well. It'll definitely add some uniqueness to your car for years to come

Any person with a decent amount of attention to detail should not spec a TR G87 with red calipers, anyways.

I wouldn't either, the color mismatch would drive me nuts as I'm sure it would most everyone else here.

My sentiment regarding the black with blue stitching, it comes across as a carryover from the F87 and yes, I am well aware that it is a totally different seat design.

On the F87 I favored Sunset Orange and Hockenheim Silver and on either the two I would have selected the orange stitching.

Are you getting yours in TR with blue calipers and Cognac or M Color Highlight seats?

The exterior has always been spec’ed TR w/ blue calipers. The interior is up in the air between the two aforementioned. I keep going back-and-forth.

There is no wrong choice here. It all comes to personal preference.

I will go flashy all around. If I get my build before Individual paint becomes available, I will go TR, M Highlight and blue calipers.

I do not want to blend in with my toy.

Alpine white with black interior with blue contrast stitching but red calipers should look good right?

Like the camel seats on TR - but man…super dislike how the small patch camel looks on the door cards, especially with the M colors
