I'm surprised there are no treads on this topic.
Took my 2022 230i (squared wheel set up) for the first service at 10K (free, included).
I was surprised to find out that they do not do tire rotations, and will charge $120 if I want to do it! My advisor says BMW does not recommend tire rotations and they are not covered under 3 year new vehicle meintainace plan. Any ideas? Do you do tire rotations for the square set up? In my understanding tire rotations are important for tires longevity.

Yes, I take the 30 mins or so to rotate my square set up every 5k miles. Just front to back

like P_Chris said I'd just do them myself. if you don't have the tools and you're not friendly with your neighbors, what about the place you bought the tires? most tire shops will give you free rotations when you purchase your tires.

I appreciate the comments, I was mainly wondering if your dealer does the rotation within the new car 3 year free maintenance schedule. Just wanted to make sure the advisor is not BS-ing me.
