Once you have a VIN, you can enter it in the MyBMW app or go to MyBMW.com and enter it there. I noticed that the website is actually much better at tracking than the app. You figure it's 2023 and the app should be better than the website, you'd be wrong.

Agreed. The lack of apparent connectivity between the app and the website is strange to me.

You can actually enter the production number on the website but not on the app (no idea why its set up like that).
