Proper Stance (KW HAS & FC Spacers)

Lets be honest, this car sits way too high and the wheels are a bit too sunken in, time to fix that.
KW H.A.S. and Future Classic wheel spacers installed.
Specs on spacers are 15mm front, 12mm rear.
Specs on H.A.S. are a 1 inch drop. Springs will settle for a little more, which is perfect since this is my daily.
Alignment has the front wheels at a small negative camber, rears at stock specs.
This is how the car should have come from BMW in the first place.
The ride doesnt feel any different than stock, maybe a little stiffer but that could be just my mind playing tricks on me.
Should Out to the guys at IND-Distribution for the great customer service.
Let me know what questions you have.

Ohh man that looks freakin' awesome! Especially love this profile pic in direct sunlight. You can really see how nice the stance is and the flake in BSM really pops.

Looks phenomenal.

Just to confirm, that’s 25mm all around?

Yes. Didnt want to go lower or have that raked look just yet. The beauty of this is I can switch it up whenever.

I wouldn’t go lower, but I don’t know how your roads are up there in the PNW. 25 looks sick, wish I had better roads in NY or I’d probably go a bit lower than the 10 it’ll come with from the port. I’m mainly doing it for handling but you can’t deny how good it looks.

Unfortunately, not really a good idea for BMW to do that as a mass-market car company. Snow chains, cambering in when fully loaded, road debris being thrown up onto fenders, etc.

...all kinds of little reasons and regulations mean that auto manufacturers are discouraged from making extremely tight fitments.

That trivia aside, the photos are great, tho!

Also there are a lot bad drivers, who curb the shit out of their wheels. BMW doesn't want all their cars rolling around with curb rash.

If Porsche can do it, so can BMW. A 1 inch drop isnt low at all, no rubbing, not slammed, its perfect. I had a 350Z that was slammed with carbon everything, trust me, that shit was low, this is absolutely perfect for a daily.

Porsche can do a lot of things BMW can't, and charges accordingly. Not a lot of people putting snow chains on 911s.

A mid-engine car on snow... I can think of few scarier things.

I followed for awhile to see if I could pick up a slightly wrecked 911 on discount.

Probably more than the people putting them on M2s, since you can get them in AWD, you can use them year round.

I would imagine the opposite actually. BMW sells BMW wheels, they need buyers, like drivers with curbed wheels.

Trust me, it sits perfectly now. I went over some speed bumps to pick up dinner, not much different than stock. Outside of the initial cost, there really arent many tradeoffs for the M Performance/KW kit.

Looks awesome. Looks like you have a little more room to work with too. If you could do it again, would you go a little wider?

Snow chains are usually too limited for any serious winter use. My G87 will have proper winter tyres on 5 months of the year, won’t have any issues in taking it to ski resorts in the Canadian Rockies, as has been the case with all the RWD BMWs I’ve had.

First driving impressions:
I took the car to pick up dinner since its a beautiful day in the PNW, people have their exotics out so why not take a spirited drive? On the way there, i pushed the car a little and the first thing i noticed was the initial bite from the front tires. The combination of the camber and the lower center of gravity sharpen up the front. It really made me want to open the car up but with like 340 miles on it, obviously i couldn't.
The restaurant's parking lot has speed bumps in the parking lot and since the car isnt slammed, went over them with no issues.
On the way home, decided to take some longer sweepers and go over some undulating roads at speed (75 mph). The car felt planted, I felt very confident and certainly went faster than i normally would. I blame the guy in the 458 for making me speed lol.
Regardless, there is very little tradeoff between the kit and the stock springs. I would recommend them. Ill do another review after break-in, as things may change.

No because it sits flush already and i don't want to change the handling characteristics too much.
