Serviceable. They're just plain black mats. I decided that replacing them would be at the bottom of my list of priorities.

I don't think mats come stock; sometimes the dealer will throw them in. I'll probably get the M Performance ones, though they don't show a plush carpet type, which I would prefer.

Does anyone know if the M Performance mats have studs or anything holding them in place? Hoping I can be lazy for track days and leave them in vs having to pull the stock ones every time.

The M2 comes with the same stock floor mats as the 2 series in the US market. They have velcro pads that stick to the floor and the M Performance and all weather use the same velcro pads to secure the floor mats.
I have never seen the floor mats 8m the picture above. Those look nice. |

Mine also came with the standard 2 series rubber (all weather) mats. They fit very well and I like them. Obviously M performace mats would make the car faster but since I have the regular all weather I don't think I'll upgrade.
Again, fitment is excellent. If anyone wants a pic just shout.

I don’t think you’d ever have a warranty claim such that inclusion would matter. Dealer installed mine. Here is a pic of drivers footwell
