Stock floor mats.

What are the stock g87 floor mats like? Wondering if the M ones are worth ordering.

Serviceable. They're just plain black mats. I decided that replacing them would be at the bottom of my list of priorities.

Right on, thanks. I usually use those weatherproof molded jobs, but hope not to be driving this in bad weather enough to need them.

I don't think mats come stock; sometimes the dealer will throw them in. I'll probably get the M Performance ones, though they don't show a plush carpet type, which I would prefer.

Does anyone know if the M Performance mats have studs or anything holding them in place? Hoping I can be lazy for track days and leave them in vs having to pull the stock ones every time.

The M2 comes with the same stock floor mats as the 2 series in the US market. They have velcro pads that stick to the floor and the M Performance and all weather use the same velcro pads to secure the floor mats.

I have never seen the floor mats 8m the picture above. Those look nice.

Do any mats come with the car? I’m wondering if I should order some now.

BMWs always come with the velour mats. They’re good, as Justin said.

They have velcros, driver and front passenger. Rears fit perfectly and grab well, no movement.

Would only consider replacing them with some rubber ones if you’re going to make a mess with mud.
Thanks, though I may go Coco, I love them in my E46. Kinda a retro vibe but great quality.

Mine also came with the standard 2 series rubber (all weather) mats. They fit very well and I like them. Obviously M performace mats would make the car faster but since I have the regular all weather I don't think I'll upgrade.

Again, fitment is excellent. If anyone wants a pic just shout.

Definitely would love some pics of the front/rear/trunk if possible. Feel free to PM me!

That was nice of your dealer. I’m guessing it wasn’t on the Moroney, so you got a freebie set. I don’t recall, is yours an HEA?

Yes, mine is an HEA and yes the dealer threw them in, free is debatable, lol.

I don’t think you’d ever have a warranty claim such that inclusion would matter. Dealer installed mine. Here is a pic of drivers footwell
