Garage List
G series have NO center jacking point.

I read the manual and noticed that unlike some of the F series documentation there was no advice on the center jacking point. Was at my local dealership today and talked to a tech and he confirmed that you can only jack the car up with the four rubber jacking points at the side of the chassis.

I saw a video on youtube where a guy with a F series m240 jacked up his car with the center jacking points and now I have a floor jack that I can't use on the center of the car . Well at least it's probably easier to get the car up than with a scissor jack when I switch to my winter setup.

Besides the 4 obvious jacking points, you can also jack under the front subframe (marked with 4 indentations) and the rear diff (not on the cooling fins or the lip).

To get the car completely off the ground you can place the jack under each of the 4 jack points and place wheels cribs under the wheels one corner at a time or jack from the front subframe then place two jackstands at the front jack points then lift the rear from the rear diff and place jackstands at the rear jackpoints. To do the latter you’ll need a low profile extended reach jack.

Here is a link to the spots for a G82 which are similar to where Coconut mentioned. I would think they are the same for other Gxx cars.
