Wheel offset help!

Looking for new wheels for the m240i. 19 8.5 front (245/40) and
19.9.5 rear (275/40} need help with offsets. Thinking a +20 or +22 in the front and +30 or +32 in the rear. Want a flush fitment without spacers. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Hi!

You can look on Apex Wheels blog, they explained all the offset and compatibility stuff

I have 19 x 8.5 ET20 front and 19 x 9.5 ET30 rear, but stayed with 245/35/19 and 255/35/19, so don't know how the 275's will work. That is max width for a 9.5 rim, so the tyre will be a little stretched.

But back to your original question. I don't have the fender flares, which add around 4mm. My rears are perfect - a very small amount of poke, which is what I wanted, but I am lowered on Eibachs (-20mm) which tucks the top of the wheels in a smidge. You could perhaps go down to ET25, but if you are fitting 275s, perhaps stick with ET30. The fronts could have gone down to around ET15 on mine as they are not as flush as I'd have liked. You could go to ET10 with the fender flares. Depends whether you like the rear to look wider than the front. You also need to decide how far off spec scrub radius you want to go.
