As part of my plan to CF wrap my roof, I sourced this Carbon Fiber antenna cover from Twenty Two Tuning.

Fit and finish is perfect!

In fact, I'm seriously thinking about foregoing the CF roof wrap and just stick with this antenna cover. I feel it provides just the right amount of contrast the car was needing.

Uneventful.

Removed the 3M tape that was supplied with the fin and secured in place with Gorilla silicon.

Cleaned the OEM fin to remove any wax, and secured the CF fin in place with masking tape (painters) for 24-hours.

Tested all radio bands including XM and GPS....no noticeable degradation.

Carbon Fiber Shark-Fin antenna update:


Just returned from a spin in the rain.

Although XM reception is fine on clear days, the slightest cloud cover will result in XM reception cutting in and out.

Take note if XM reception is important to you.
