Possible to Tow a Manual M2?

Hey all. I fished around some but didn't see the answer.

Was wondering if a manual M2 could be towed with the rear wheels on the ground?

Reason I ask is I tow a car on a dolly behind my motorhome x-# of times a year. Considering picking up an M2 but curious if it could be towed or not via a dolly setup.

From your owner's manual...

Short answer seems to be 'no' to your application.

Appreciate it guys. Guess if I end up buying an M2 it won't be tagging along on RV trips (at least via our car dolly).

yeah, i was a bit surprised as well (and curious since i own a RWD manual M2), i would have figured towing with rear wheels only (car in neutral obviously) would have been fine

maybe bmw is just being conservative but not sure i'd risk finding out the hard way that it wasn't a good idea.
