Lemons Race!
Just completed my first Lemons race and it was an absolute blast. We raced an 89 s10 that gave us some headaches but we got it and kept it running for the weekend.
We run Lemons for a non-profit in a “jog-a-thon” style format to raise money for Down Syndrome. https://go.rallyup.com/lifewithmicah...mpaign/Details We’re getting ready for the May Thunderhill Race which is using the 5 mile configuration. If you haven’t done a lemons race - for all its lightheartedness it is very competitive W2W racing! I highly recommend. |

No, it's the 24 Hours of Lemons. Amateur teams, beater cars, event stewards that make crew members and drivers do stupid/embarrassing things on a whim for something trivial like putting a tire off onto the grass. Far from serious racing, but still a challenge for the teams to keep a beater car together for an entire endurance race being driven flat-out.....
