IRL or Valve T

About to grab one catback or the other.

I have done as much research on the two as I can. I am not going to get to hear either in person.

If anyone has had a chance to hear them both I sure would love to hear from you.

With respect, I am leaning toward the IRL.

Thoughts on build quality of either? True 304, rust, etc....

Any reason Extreme PH doesn't carry the IRL?

I have the full IRL. No complaints. The fit was good, the sound is great, and the workmanship is top notch. I suspect that you will hear the same things from Valve T owners so I am not sure if my opinion is helpful.

Zactly...I have the Valvetronic valved sport exhaust system (stainless) with Evolution Racewerks highflow catted downpipes (200 cell). Fitment, quality and performance is outstanding (for those who are looking for sound...it sounds great, also).

Sharing my input on IRL. I’ve had my setup for quite some time and it’s holding up top notch just like the quality! Fits snug just like OEM if not better and Magic is very knowledgeable of the platform that will go out of his way to make his client happy. IRL is a way to go 🫡💪🏾

MADD seems to be the best deal. IRL wants $100 shipping and doesn't include a brace. With free shipping, MADD is the same price and includes a brace.

We will start rolling out G87 exhaust parts in May!

I have the IRL catback, have no complaints other than my valves acting up sometimes, but IRL has been working with me to fix it (great support and fast response time). They've sent me a new control box and are going to send some new controllers that only have an open and close button, the default controller all of these exhausts use have a third "calibration" button that may have thrown my valves out of alignment, so if the controllers don't work, they're going to send me a new valve controller unit so I can replace everything from the control box to the actual valve modules.

I'd say the IRL catback makes the car sound very similar to a S55 with a single midpipe.

This is an example where an option that leverages oem control instead of an after market remote would be beneficial.

The IRL exhaust can be used with the oem valves, I just opted to go for total control with the aftermarket option and once we get the new controllers dialed in, it should resolve the one issue I have with the exhaust.

Update: the issue has been complete solved, turns out all that was needed was some new locking pins for the valve motors, the oem springs had too much pressure and that’s why the valves wouldn’t open or close completely.
