So potent...
Threw me off how he kept saying that. But went about how expected if not actually closer than expected. |

Has the Nissan Z ever won any comparison race or articles?

What did they think was going to happen? Under-rated HP vs Over-rated HP.
Even the M240 would put down more power than that Z on the same dyno. |

They should race a M240 with the Nismo and the M240 will probably win. |

I was a prior Nissan fan owned a few Infiniti red sport 400s owned the Nemo 350 Z when it was built by Altech. Nissan is the same mixing 20-year-old parts with new things and then lying to people.
But Nissan has a hard-core group and a certain income level and they know those people in those income levels who are coming out of old 370 Z‘s can’t wait to get their hands on this car and those are the people unfortunately who gets suckered into buying these things. |

Every Nissan/Infiniti I've tested over the last 15 years has felt like an unrefined pile of metal compared to the German and Cadillac competitors. |

After what they did to Carlos Ghosn, I hope Nissan dies a slow and painful death… ☠️
Along with Renault , Infiniti, Mitsubishi, and Japan Inc❕

I loved the Z of the 90s as a kid and eventually bought the 2003 350Z when it came out still think it’s a great looking car and it was a blast to drive it handled really well. However the latest generations leave a lot to be desired it’s a shame as it’s probably one of the last few remaining true sports cars left. No back seat, front engine RWD, option for manual transmission. I really wanted this one to be great. Even though I’m on my 2nd BMW 4 series and I’d probably wouldn’t buy one, I’m still a fan of great sport cars from any manufacturer.

it's sad, but this is the state of affairs in most of the performance car market. also see: GRC, CTR, ITS, and to some extent RS3 etc edit: found it. https://www.hagerty.com/media/new-ca...st-no-contest/ "Just look at the limited production of the ordinary Z, whose U.S. sales this year totaled just 966 cars through June. Part of that is due to production delays related to semiconductor shortages, as well as a new manufacturing process at Nissan’s factory in Tochigi, Japan, but it’s also a deliberate strategy. “It’s getting harder and harder to make sports cars,” explained Hawson, the product planning director. The days of us making 15 or 25 thousand 350Zs is long gone, which means the Z NISMO is a limited version of a limited car.”' This pissed me off again just reading it lmfao |

Nissan used to be great! I had a 82 200SX (college car), several Maximas (the 2010 being the worst, and my 99 Maxima SE 5 spd being the best. I then had a 2003 FX45, 2006 M45, 2011 FX50 and my last Nissan product was a 2016 QX80.
They have definitely gone down hill which is unfortunate and I highly doubt they will be back to their full potential. |

Seems the best cars at this level are both BMW’s; G87 M2 and Mk5 Z4pra.

The only thing Nissan has going for them is the GTR and even that is old or getting old really quickly. Nissan and Infiniti are just producing shit cars. Feels like they never grew up after 2010, just stuck there.
