For some reason BMW continue to screw RHD markets and don’t supply an aluminium trim for the dead pedal on cars that come with them as standard in LHD markets. Just curious if anyone knows of any after market solutions?

LHD or RHD will have exactly the same shape of the pedal surface. Only difference is RHD will attach to the firewall at the tunnel side of the footwell as opposed to the outside surface.

I don’t think they are the exact same shape otherwise there’d be no reason they don’t install the LHD part at the factory.

Correct, they are not symmetrical - one side fits to the wall.
