New factory wheels for MY2025

So the internal dealer forum thing says:

“BMW is expected to spruce up the wheel designs as well.”

Could we possibly be looking at forged?

I really hope they don’t blow the wheel design. I also hope they offer a dark gunmetal / Anthracite.

Tag any input?

It was in the same announcement as the new colors. It mentioned the power increases, the CS coming out in Calendar 25 and the little tidbit on the wheels.

They need proper offsets so you don't need spacers, forged or not. If not, just buy a set of correct offset aftermarket forged wheels.

Yes, this was first reported by ynguldyn about a year ago in the future models thread. Have not heard anything since but if I were to guess they won't be forged and they'll do what they did with the M4 LCI, same wheels, different finish. We'll find out soon enough.

If bright silver gets added as an option, I sure hope still offer black or dark gray.

Bright silver kinda wrecks my frozen Portimao plans..

Brake dust would be brutal too.

1WL are forged wheels for the G80/2, doubt the M2 will get them. They'll likely take the current cast wheels and apply the same finish.

I'd absolutely go for those on my Twilight Purple M2.

Yes just a color change. I would expect the same for the M2. Thats all they did for M3/M4 wheel selection of course. Love em. Thats my build. Probably moving forward!

Having these as an option would have convinced me to hold off another few months on my current BBS.

there are a few cars where the OEM wheel design is, IMHO, intrinsic to the design language of the car (eg 20th Anni GTIs (aristos), W210 E55 AMG (monoblocks), pre-2008 WRX Sti (BBS), E39 M5 (style 65s) etc)... i don't think the G87 is/will be one of them.

Kind of a lame wheel update, unless there are other wheel styles coming on the full release. BUT...I have to say black wheels have been over-done on these cars, and I just love those new silver M wheels. Between this, those M sport seats and alcantara steering wheel and torque bump, it all pushed me over the fence to 'upgrade' my 230 M Sport to a 2025 M2.

Yeah, so I hear. I have to say, I love my 230 for the lightweight and very toss-able chassis with my 255 square set up. But, I know that the M2 feels similar and if I ain't tracking it, why do I car if the car weighs 300+ lbs more. It's a great M car says everyone who reviews it.
