G87 M2 Production numbers by color
Curious how rare each color is...
Does anyone have the 2023 G87 M2 productions numbers by color? |

Funny because half of the G87s I've seen have been ZB, two black, two grey, one white, and the only TR one I've seen is mine. That's just my population sample in Denver at least.

Since we're all working off of confirmation bias, FPB is hands down the most rare color because I've rarely ever seen them posted.

this was the first 5 OG colors offered. im willing to bet that FPB is dead last among the 5 OG colors plus 2 frozen colors.

FWIW, I spoke with my SA and he said Alpine White is the color that sells the most at their dealership (SoCal). This only further muddies the waters haha.

Adding to the thread with 100% unreliability based on my observations irl
I would say TR since I have seen: 2 BM 2 ZB 1 BG 1 AW 1 FPB ZERO TR! |

A more accurate method may be simply counting the number of posts in each of the sticky posts for the dedicated car color 😀. FPB at least has some representation there albeit I think from only two cars.

OP is asking specifically about 2023 numbers, correct? In that case wouldn’t ZB likely take first place? Seemed like most HEA cars were that color and they made up the the majority of deliveries that year. I’d be interested to see the actual numbers too if someone has access?
However, the thing I’d be most interested in is the take rate for cognac interiors in 2024. That would tell us if there was really low demand or whether it was a cost cutting measure by BMW to axe it in 2025.
